Pre Work-
Create a plan- complete planning packet. Use color while waiting for conference for approval to begin.
1. Sketch requirements:
a. Combine characteristics of an animal with another animal
b. Combine characteristics of an animal with human characteristics
c. Draw the image from the front.
d. Draw the image from the side

Steps:
1. Prep and prepare by creating a series of sketches of surreal characters/creatures
2. Consider color while creating sketches-
3. Create an armature- Cardboard and balled up papers.
4. Use tape to reinforce the armature
5. Paper mache layers to create a solid forms. 5 layers should be good.
6. Use joint compound pr ultra mache to add details
7. Allow to dry
8. Prime the surface with Gesso
9. Plan color choices and use VALUE and COLOR mixing to create a realistic form
*Objects painted flat will not get full credit for the Color component.
